1.) Why, after waiting so long, does Penelope offer herself to the whichever suitor can pass the bow test even though she received good news about Odysseus? 2.) Does Penelope intentionally give the suitors the challenge of using Odysseus' bow knowing none of them bear the strength of Odysseus?

1. Does the story that Odysseus tells his wife as a beggar have any parallels to the same stories that Odysseus tells Athena and Eumaeus?
2. Why does Penelope seem like she denies that fact that the eagle in her dream is Odysseus and decides to allow any suitor to marry her if they can perform the task of shooting an arrow through the holes of twelve axes set in a line.

1. Why would the suitors agree to put their weapons away, even though they are suspicous of the beggar?…2. Does penelope get very suspicous about who the begar is and does she think its Oddysseus because He told of stories he had with him at the battle of Troy?

1) Odysseus's bow can only be strung by Odysseus, is this because he liked so well by the gods, or is the bow a symbol for some other aspect of the story?
2) The shot that lady Penelope purposes is in fact an impossible shot, but Odysseus manages to make it is this because Athena and Zeus, or is this due to Odysseus's own merit?
