1) When Odysseus and his crew pass by Sycilla and Charybdis, could the gods, specifically Athene, not offer any form of protection for the men?
2) When Odysseus arrives back to Ithaca, was he the only person left alive out of all the men who sailed out for the Trojan War?

1) Did the whole crew know that their fate was to die, or was it just Odysseus who knew and did not tell them?
2) Why does Athena never show her true identity, but instead hides it with a disguise?

1.Why didn't the Phaeacians wake Odysseus up before stopping sending Odysseus back and told him what happened?
2.Why did Athene tell Oysseus go find Eumaeus instead of bringing Odysseus back to his home immediately

Is there a reason why Odysseus accepts the fate of losing six of his shipmates?
Instead of tying up Odysseus on the mast, why did he not just put beeswax as well?
