1.) Why did Cunegonde marry Don Fernando so quickly even after she agreed to marry Candide? 2.) Why is it that Candide attributes the good things that happen to the faith that Pangloss taught him yet seems to waiver at times on his same faith when things do not go well?

The woman being almost raped still was okay with the guy, does that show how desperate and far she had come? Did they cut the buttox of the women so they could keep them alive?

1)Since Candide killed that first man back when he was reunited with Cunegonde, it seems he is going to kill anyone that makes him even the slightest bit upset, why? 2)If the old woman was with Candide when he killed Cunegonde's barons, why did she stay behind with Cunegonde instead of going with Candide?

1) Why Cunegonde's brother cared that much that Candide was a bastard since his family did not exsist anymore? 2) Why candide decide to hear others' ill- fortune? Did that make him feel better about his own experience?
