1. Why would Creon not let Antigone bury her brother like she wanted to?
2. Did Creon go against the Gods orders because Creon said that the gods told him to not bury Polynices, but Tiresias said the complete opposite?

1. Creon seems to hold himself higher than most of his peers, and so why would he feel that he is entitled to this self promotion?
2. Towards the end Creon's opinion of himself degrades; could the degradation Creon feels for himself be caused by a lowered self esteem or a realization that he is the same as those around him.

1. Why does Antigone want to protect her sister by telling her to tell everyone what she is doing even after she chooses to betray her family for the sake of the law?
2. Antigone is so focused on burying her brother or taking whatever wrath of Creon falls upon her when she tries so why does she kill herself when she is thrown is prison?

1.Since Ismene has said that she must yeild to those in authority, then why she still keep the secret that it is Antigone that burried Polynecise? 2.I can feel that Creon respects the gods. How can he have no awareness of his mistake when Antigone told him his strong edict weakened itself when his law was against the immortal unrecorded laws of Gods?

Why does Creon get mad at sentinel just for telling him the news that someone buried Polynices?
Why does Eteocles get an honorable burial and not his brother when the only reason they were fighting was because Eteocles wouldn't step down from the throne like his father had wanted in the first place?
