1.) If Farinata is an enemy of Dante, why does he help Dante by telling Dante his future? 2.) Why does God or the "King of All" grant the souls of hell the ability to see the future but be unable to perceive the present?

1) "He seemed to hold all Hell in disrespect." Does this quote about Farinata mean that he hates the creators and souls in hell? 2) "I guard Anastasius, once Pope, he whom Photinus led from the straight road." Does this imply that he was once on a holy path, but was then corrupted?
