1.) Why are certain beasts given to certain sins? (Ex. Fraudulent and malicious are sins of the leopard) 2.) Why is the eighth circle split into so many separate bolgias?

1) The beast in Hell are generally there to punish the souls of sinner. Why are the beasts that help Dante and Virgil move through Hell actually in Hell if they just help people move between circles? 2) Why is wading through feces the punishment for Fraud?

1. What do the three parts of the wheel symbolize? 2. Are the purses of the userers like bags to carry their sorrows for commiting fraud to haunt them for the rest of their lives?

1: in canto 16 dante sees these men that are running towards the cliff that he is perched on with virgil, and these men are calling to him saying that dante is from the same land as them, so when dante speaks to them is he trying to ease some of their suffering?
2: In the 17th canto, the demon that dante sees and describes has a scorpion's tail, is this an allusion that he cant be trusted due to the fact that a scorpion is unpredictable as fraud is as well?

Is the moving wheel some sort of train when the wraiths came towards Dante?
Do Dante and Virgil create a strong between between the two as Dante trusted him as Virgil told him to throw his cord and also to jump on the Geryon?
